Application:
Drive for tower cranes for civil construction.
Motors and brake motors designed for the various movements of a tower crane: Lifting, Luffing, Traversing, and Slewing.
Characteristics:
Custom electrical design, adapted to each crane and type of service (generally S3 or S4-ED60%), considering the number of starts per hour and other factors.
Speed Options
1-speed motors for drive by inverter with or without encoder.
2 or 3-speed motors, with Dahlander winding or independent coils (e.g.: 2/4/16 poles).

Mechanical Construction
IP23 open, self-ventilated IC01 or IC06, with compact design and excellent thermal performance.
Alternatively, models with IP54/55 protection are offered for more demanding environments.
Cooling Options
IC411, IC01 (Self-ventilated).
IC416, IC06 (Forced ventilation) axial or centrifugal/radial.
IC410 (TENV).
Optional elements, heating resistors, temperature probes, microswitches, encoders.
Protection for aggressive environments: Designed to withstand extreme climatic conditions, with special coatings suitable up to high-grade CX marine coating quality.
Brakes:
- Designed and manufactured in-house by Obeki.
- DC power supply (90 to 190 Vdc) with included rectifier supply.
- Static braking torque of up to 12,000 Nm.
