At Obeki, we design, manufacture, and certify asynchronous, three-phase, low-voltage electric motors and brake motors, adapted to applications that require specific and customized solutions.
For decades, we have supported our clients in sectors where technical demands are critical: lifting, naval and offshore, submarine, steel, energy, pumping, ventilation, and other industries that require robust, efficient motorization adapted to each environment.

In-house and Controlled Production
We have facilities of 6,000 m² where we internally carry out the key stages of the production process:
- Magnetic sheet metal stamping (rotors and stators)
- Winding, varnishing, and assembly
- Component machining and final assembly
- Painting and functional testing
We also work with specialized industrial partners in intermediate processes, always guaranteeing the quality of the final product. In sectors such as offshore, defense, or nuclear, we manufacture according to rigorous Inspection Point Programs agreed upon with the client and certifying bodies.
Custom Engineering
Our team of electrical and mechanical engineers develops more than 500 different designs per year, responding to the specifications of each project with optimized solutions in, among others, performance, robustness, dimensions, tightness, and cost.
This flexibility allows us to manufacture more than 4,500 unique motors or in medium and large series annually, either for new projects or as a replacement for obsolete equipment from other manufacturers.
Testing and Certification
All our motors are 100% tested in our test bench. We perform everything from Routine Tests to Type Tests that include loads and heating.
We also perform measurements of
- Vibration, noise, braking torque, partial loads, Back emf, etc.
- Certification before maritime classification societies and other entities
Our test bench is also available to third parties who need to characterize low voltage asynchronous motors.
Obeki Integrated Brakes
One of our greatest strengths is the in-house manufacturing of electromagnetic brakes, perfectly integrated into our motors, without dependence on external brands. This allows us to offer compact, reliable solutions fully adapted to the working environment, also guaranteeing the rapid supply of spare parts.
We develop direct current or alternating current brakes, with braking torques covering from 10 Nm up to 4,000 Nm, higher on demand, adjusted to the requirements of sectors as demanding as industrial lifting, tower cranes, and the naval environment, including offshore.
