General characteristics

  • Motors that have been designed and manufactured in accordance with the standards of the relevant quality certification agencies: Bureau Veritas (BV), Lloyd's Register of Shipping (LRS), Germanischer Lloyd (GL), Dersk Norske Veritas (DNV), RI, etc…
  • Strong and reliable
  • High protection levels, from IP55, IP56, available up to IP66
  • 1, 2 or 3-speed motors
  • Cast iron (from size 80) and steel frameworks.
  • Motors tested against immersion in water
  • From 0.1 kW to 500 kW
  • Sized to measure for the specific service they are designed for: S2-30', S3, S4-300 start-ups/hour, S4, S5….
  • Brake torques from 1.5 to 2.5 times the nominal motor torque to ensure the load is properly held in place
  • Special equipment for different voltages and working frequencies.
  • Adapted for work with a frequency variator
  • Insulation level F or H depending on the client’s requirements.
  • High start-up torque and maximum torque
  • Resistant to high intensity start-up values, as is the case for motors used for intermittent services with a high number of start-ups per hour
  • Universal or personalised shaft outputs (diameter, length, key).
OBEKI manufactures motors for:

Boat deck machinery:

  • Capstans
  • Reels
  • Tower cranes
  • Winches

Marine cranes:

  • Boat cranes and dockyard cranes
  • Cranes for off-shore applications
  • Cable rollers for dockyard cranes. Constant torque motors

Motors for auxiliary propulsion of boats:

  • Activation of bow and azimuth propellers
  • Cranes for off-shore applications
  • Motors for regenerative systems: PTI-PTO (alternating energy activation and generation)
